Senior Dinner 2012
During the last month of school, the Stover scholars were invited to attend a dinner at the Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Joining the students were President and Mrs. Timothy Thyreen, Executive Vice President and Mrs. Doug Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Howes, Mr. Thomas Johnson, Esq., partner, K&L Gates and Mrs. Cathie Johnson, and Dr. Lawrence Stratton. Mr. Dwight Howes, a partner at Reed Smith, inspired the students with his work ethic and impressive background. Mr. Howes studied at George Washington University for both his undergraduate and law degrees. He worked as a legislative aid, assistant, and director for senators across the country. He worked for numerous law firms and the Consolidated Gas Company before arriving in Pittsburgh.
President Thyreen closed the night by presenting five plaques of recognition to the 2012 graduating seniors: Terrin Crist, Alexander Goodwin, Stephanie Laing, Courtney Parker, and Jacob Waltemeyer.
